Now you can leave your personal mark on CWoT. This is the only place on the internet where you can buy a full page to customize for only $5.00 (US)
So what is the deal? Well, for a mere $5.00, you get to OWN a page on CWoT. It will never expire for as long as CWoT exists! It will never get deleted! It will be designed by YOU and you can place a link to it in our forum as well as spread it around the internet for maximum exposure. Let your creativity run wild!
What types of things should go on your page? Well, that's up to you. You can buy a page and leave it blank. You can put 50 banner ads on the page. You can make a statement about the things that are important to you. You can have music, photos, scripts, links...nearly anything you want on your piece of CWoT. Buy more than one and we will link them together for you.
Want to propose to your sweetie? Buy a page and ask her online where you met! Send the link to all your friends and family! Revisit the link on your anniversary! Do you want to write a biography on your Dad? Buy a page and fill it with all his childhood pictures! Celebrate graduations, births, marriages, and other important events with a piece of CWoT.
Your page can be nearly any file type, .html .htm .php .php3 .php4...If CWoT can support it, you can have it on your page. Say you want to try your hand at building your own level... but you don't have the resources to pay for your own website... NO PROBLEM! Buy 4 or 5 pages (we will link them for you, and name them what you like) and build your own level, complete with egg pages and embedded photos!!
Remember, you NEVER have to pay ANYTHING again! Once you buy a page it will stay up and on the server for as long as CWoT is alive and well! Nothing could be EASIER!
So how does it all work? Simple! First, decide how many pages you want to buy (you don't have to buy them all at once), then follow the "Buy Now" button at the bottom of the page to go to the Piece of CWoT PayPal account screen. Once you are there, sign into your paypal account and finish filling out the transaction form. (Don't have a paypal account? NO PROBLEM! There is also a link to pay by credit card!) Once you have paid, come back here and follow the email link (next to the PayPal button) and send an email to us letting us know what you have in mind. As soon as we receive payment verification we will get you started. Pretty simple, huh?
The next step is designing your page! You have FREE control! Text size, font choices, language, sound, pictures, layout... make the page look however you want! (Do not worry if you do not know how to code a web page. BLiZZ and Coyote will be more than happy to assist you!)
After that the page will be made, and uploaded to the folder. You will be given a link to your page and you can then see it for yourself. You may visit your page to verify that it looks the way you want it to look. You will have the opportunity to make any changes to the page you want. Once you post the link to your page publicly and start having visitors nothing will be altered on your page, so make sure it looks perfect before you post.
Even after your page meets with your approval you are not done yet! What good would it do to make a web page and not let anyone see it? This is where the CWoT forum comes into play! Log into the forum (or sign up if you are not a member) and navigate to the "Piece Of CWoT" thread. Once there, you can post a link to your specific page and tell everyone what it is (or keep it a mystery and make people find out for themselves!) You do not have to play the CWoT Trail or CWoT Invasion to post your link in our forum. Our members will visit your link, so why not take advantage of that free advertising. You may also post your link to your page anywhere else you go on the internet.
That's it! Once your page is up and you have made your post in the forum SPREAD the word! Go tell your friends and family and Blog readers and whomever else you know all about your page.
Now for the fine print (you knew there would be some):
CWoT reserves the right to cancel this offer at any time. However, all pages posted at that time will remain up for as long as CWoT has a server to host it on. All pages become the property of cleverwasteoftime.com (CWoT) and all rights that go with it.
The contents of the pages and the views expressed on them do NOT represent the views of CWoT, the owners, creators, or members. We reserve the right to refuse to post pages we believe to be overtly racist, prejudicial, hate inspired, or pages containing any illegal content or promotion of illegal activities. You may NOT place any spyware or adware on these pages. You may NOT attach viruses to these pages. Make sure you own the copyright or intellectual rights to the stuff you display. CWoT assumes no responsibility for verification of these rights and if we are notified that your page is in violation of someone else's rights we will remove your page immediately without notice or refund. The pages are fully customizable by the buyer, but once the final page is agreed on, NO changes will be made.
Just to make sure we are clear, let us reiterate: Although freedom of speech and all that rule on the internet the following are NOT allowed: Nudity; cruelty; copyright, trade mark or patented works you do not own the rights too; malicious codes; "hacker" scripts; trojans, virii, or other adware/spyware or other self extracting, self executing programs, applications, scripts or wares; anything depicting the violation of local, federal, US, foreign, or international laws.
These terms (the fine print) can be amended too at ANY time. Failure to comply with these set standards will result in your page being removed from the site permanently. Absolutely no refunds, for ANY reason. Make sure you want it before you buy it.
